We are having a shoe dilemma in the Bischoff house. Charlie has outgrown her baby shoes (Robeez, etc.) and I would have her barefoot when just bumming around, but it’s so gosh darn cold in our apartment! She refuses to keep socks on. We’ve been putting tights on her, but they are pretty slippery on the hardwood floors.
I purchased a pair of cute Stride Rite’s for her that stay on and are very sturdy…unfortunately, they are a tad big. We decided to go ahead and use them, but I’m not sure if they are a help or a hindrance in the walking department. Maybe she just needs to get used to them?
I was told that if you let them wear shoes that are too big, they will spread their toes apart to keep them on…and if they do that too much…that’s the way their feet will grow. Who knows!
