Charlie knew they were sleep-deprived, but she decided she’d continue to confuse her days and nights. Life was waaay more fun being constantly fussed over, especially by her bleary-eyed parents. She thought she might exercise those lungs, too. Was she the “Happiest Baby on the Block”?? Only time would tell. Here she is, captured in a moment of bliss, at least as far as her parents were concerned.

Yesterday Charlie got a bath from her Nana Charlotte. This is the first time she’s had a bath and hasn’t screamed through the whole thing! As you can see, her Nana is covering up the parts that shouldn’t be on display. Charlie is a lady, after all.

Our first week home from the hospital, Charlie debuted her new brunch outfit at Cafe Selmarie, down the street. She felt very fancy in her pink pants. In attendance were her daddy, her Mimi Judy, her Auntie Em, and her proud mom. As you can see, she hasn’t quite grown into her car seat yet.

Here we are, on Labor Day (Ha!) with our little peanut.

Finally! At 2:40 pm on Saturday, September 1st, Charlotte Faye Bischoff, a.k.a.

“Charlie” was born. She came via c-section and it couldn’t have gone better. Here are her first moments–as you can see, she weighed exactly 6 pounds!
