Mommy and Daddy were so excited yesterday. After days of putting “puffs” on Charlie’s tray, she finally figured out how to put one in her mouth. Yay!!

The weather has (sadly) been borderline chilly the past few days. Good thing Mommy had not packed this outfit away! It was a gift from Mimi, and Charlie loves it. If you’ll notice in the second pic, Charlie is showing off her pearly whites. Doesn’t it look like she’s screaming, “Cheeeeeeese!!”??

Last week Charlie had a chance to hang out with some of her “girls”. Here they are (that’s Charlie, Elynor, and Caroline) trying to figure out which camera to look at.

Santa brought Charlie this “Superstar Sing-along Stage” for Christmas. She’s just now loving it!! She’s becoming quite the karaoke queen (obviously taking after her Mommy) and does a mean rendition of “Son of a Preacher Man”…..

As you’ve probably seen, Siena is the braver of Mommy & Daddy’s two kitties. She’s a brute and a bully, all 7 pounds of her (Allie is a heftier 9 pounds) and likes to pounce on man, woman, and child. She loves Charlie. Somehow we think that maybe she gets it–you know, that the baby isn’t a toy–and seems pretty gentle with her. However, she apparently likes the smell of baby hair, and wants to nip at Charlie’s noggin. Charlie isn’t afraid to swat back, as you can see. Just one of the many funny happenings in the Bischoff household. And don’t worry, Siena can often be seen lurking in many of the postings on this blog…..

It’s still pretty hard to get Charlie to sit still. Lately, when she’s on her tummy she really kicks her legs and rocks back and forth. She hardly topples over anymore, and a few times she has bonked her head but hasn’t seemed too fazed by it. Here she is sporting her cousin Dali’s too-cute Oilily dress, over jeans, of course. Oh, and her brand new Robeez from Mommy’s friend Becky.
