For those of you who have been around for our feeding challenges, you’ll be happy to know that Charlie has had a surge in appetite the past few days. Last night’s dinner in particular went very well. It seems like she is starting to be more comfortable with textures and isn’t making that face as much. We are finetuning her schedule and moving towards establishing a family “dinner” time.

Tra la la…….
Oh, Momma is tired……
So, it’s happened. Mommy got back from Texas and Charlie is unstoppable. Friends told us about this time….but I don’t think we really grasped it until now. Although not quite up off her tummy, Charlie is an army crawlin’ fool, and really, really good at it. She can also sit up from a laying down position, as Mommy found when she went to get her up this morning. There she was, sitting up, like she had done it a million times before.
Father’s Day 2008
Sorry it’s been awhile since we’ve posted….Mommy was in Texas last w/e visiting Charlie’s cousins Dali and brand new baby Owen! She had such a wonderful time with Uncle Evan and Aunt M’Emily and has been a little homesick this week. Charlie’s been trying to cheer her up as best she can. One thing that did cheer Mommy up was how great Charlie & Daddy did in her absence. Check out these cute pics from the zoo!

Charlie does the army crawl…….
Beautiful Girl
Yesterday, Charlie, Mommy & Daddy went out to the Ryerson Forest Preserves in Lincolnshire and had her very first (truly) professional photo shoot. As you can see, our photographer did not disappoint! Leigh (who is based out of Lake County, Illinois) graciously allowed me to feature two pics on the blog. It was a beautiful setting and it is safe to say that Charlie had never seen a dandelion before! She was pretty serious but we got these amazing pics despite her reflectiveness. We’ll just call them our “arty” shots. π For more highlights of the session and info on Leigh (who we totally recommend!) check out her website and blog at: www.leighwilcoxsonphotography.com.
