After Charlie’s bday extravaganza, Mommy and Daddy were able to steal away for two days to a gorgeous cabin (owned by a family friend) in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Gatlinburg is home to the airbrushed t-shirt and various amazing sights, such as Ripley’s “Believe it or Not”, which costs $15 per adult to get in!! We opted for the less expensive “sit on the couch and watch ‘The Bachelorette’ route”–but hey, you can’t beat 48 hours of un-interrupted tv/laying around time.

Charlie entertained her Nana and JJ and spent the two days learning how to drink out of a sippy cup and playing in her diaper in the front yard. Ah, bliss for all involved.
