An Early Bday Present….
….came from the Tennessee Bischoff’s! It’s Charlie’s “first anywhere” chair and it’s the perfect size for a little peanut. Thanks Nana, JJ, & and Aunt Janet!!!!
An Air-Brushing Extravaganza….
….is what we had in Gatlinburg. Here we pay homage to all of our girls…..seen at a playdate near you…..
Mommy & Daddy’s Vacay
After Charlie’s bday extravaganza, Mommy and Daddy were able to steal away for two days to a gorgeous cabin (owned by a family friend) in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Gatlinburg is home to the airbrushed t-shirt and various amazing sights, such as Ripley’s “Believe it or Not”, which costs $15 per adult to get in!! We opted for the less expensive “sit on the couch and watch ‘The Bachelorette’ route”–but hey, you can’t beat 48 hours of un-interrupted tv/laying around time.
Charlie entertained her Nana and JJ and spent the two days learning how to drink out of a sippy cup and playing in her diaper in the front yard. Ah, bliss for all involved.

Charlie’s Two Cakes
Aunt Janet ordered Charlie the scrumdidlyumptious pig ice cream cake shown below for her shindig. It had raspberry sorbet in it and was deeelicious!! For her own “smashcake”, Charlie dug into this little malti-poo. Isn’t it too cute???
Charlie’s Bday Party Extravaganza!
Here’s Charlie in her “birthday” outfit. She’s really pulling up now! The “pre-party” (as you know, Charlie doesn’t turn 1 until September 1st) was a huge success. Mimi and Poppy were able to travel from Texas to join Nana and JJ in the fun. There were about 22 family members and close friends that celebrated with her, and she received lots of fun new toys, including TWO “first” handbags, complete with compacts and car keys.
You can never have too many, as Mommy would say.
