I’m not usually one for head-to-toe “matchy-matchy”, but this little Gymbo ensemble was a must-have. Daddy says that the skirt is too short for church. I told him it’s actually a “skort”.
Something tells me that doesn’t change his opinion on the subject.
What a little stinker. Sometime between last week and this week, Charlie has learned how to climb. That’s right, and she won’t take no for an answer. It seems as though the couch has a magnetic pull to it.
She’s doing a pretty good job of trusting her instincts, however, I did take my eyes off of her for a second and she landed face-first on the carpet. Ooops. Needless to say, keeping her entertained is becoming harder and harder.
On Sunday, we packed up and drove the long drive home. It took us almost 14 hours (much to Daddy’s dismay) but we made it.
We had a great time with our Tennessee family!!
Charlie learns the finer things about shopping…..
The day after Thanksgiving, Charlie had a playdate with her Birchwood friend, Addie. Addie’s Mommy has a blog, too!!
Daddy and Uncle Lewis worked for hours to “assemble” Charlie’s shopping cart.
Well, not really hours, but still worth noting that this is the first of many Christmases that Daddy will be reading directions and using a screwdriver.
After a delicious meal on Thursday, we celebrated Christmas early with Nana, JJ, and Aunt Janet. We all received some amazing gifts, but Charlie was an especially lucky little girl!
Aunt Janet and John gave Charlie this awesome “Smart Bounce & Spin Pony”. We haven’t hooked it up yet, but it promises to offer many hours of fun AND learning. Can’t beat that!!
Nana & JJ gave Charlie her first shopping cart. It has lots of different buttons and lights and some “groceries” that go with it. Now if only we could get her to start clipping coupons….

The Bischoff’s are back!! Charlie had a ball in Tennessee. Here she is, living it up during bathtime with Nana.
