So we mentioned that Charlie has been a bit of a “bruiser” lately (as Daddy likes to call her)…and now you can actually see her in action. Here is a priceless shot we managed to capture of her terrorization of her cousins. What happened to my sweet little baby??
Santa also brought Charlie a “Little People” Airplane, complete with weary winter-laden travellers in search of a little sun and fun!! The little man even sports a Hawaiian shirt and a fanny pack…no, not really, but he is wearing vacation wear. Charlie got to wear her very special “Travel to Bethlehem” bishop on Christmas Day. So sweet!!
Dali wanted to know when God’s birthday was, and when M’Emily told her that God didn’t have a birthday because He was everywhere and in everything, she asked when Jesus’ birthday was. “Funny you should ask, but Christmas day is Jesus’ birthday!” to which Dali promptly insisted on cake and ice cream for Jesus.
….Santa!!!! Woo-Hoo!! Charlie is such a lucky girl. Santa brought her a sweet doll stroller complete with a doll to ride in it. Unfortunately for the doll, Charlie thought the stroller was for her, promptly threw the doll in the corner, and stuck a leg in. Oh, Charlie….
And…here she is. The hair puller herself. She gave me a really good yank today. Joy, joy.

The Polar Express was a half hour ride to the North Pole. First we had a narration of the actual book!
…we rode the Polar Express!! The kids wore their Nick N’ Nora Pj’s and we set out on our journey to the North Pole.
