Yesterday afternoon we received a big box from my favorite shopping haunt, the Gap. I have been waiting for this sweater for what seems like forever, so when it came I had to get it on Charlie ASAP! She also tried on her new brown chucks (Converse) and they are just TOO cute. Maybe this is the picture I should submit to Gap’s Casting Call contest??

Girltime
Yesterday we headed down to Armitage for a coffee/tea date with Ms. Lauren and baby Georgia. It was so nice to catch up and have some girltime…when it started raining we ducked into the bagel shop on the corner and indulged in a YUMMY egg and cheese bagel (hot and gooey, and one of my very favorite treats!). Charlie loves Georgia…anytime she sees a picture of a baby she says her name!!
Magic, Mirth, and Mischief!!
So before Vann and Charlie came along, my biggest obsession/addiction in life was makeup. Seriously, if it meant I had to eat pb & j’s until payday so I could make a trip to Sephora, I would do it. I do still love me some Sephora, don’t get me wrong…I just don’t get there as often as I used to.
However, one thing Auntie Em and I look forward to every winter is MAC Holiday Palette time. Limited edition lipglass/eye shadow/etc. and it is so much fun and really gets me into the holiday spirit. I just got my postcard last week and am making my appointment!!
Etsy
Oh, I just LOVE Etsy.com. I’ve blogged about it a million times before…it’s a website devoted to all things handmade. It is overwhelming at first…there is so much to look through, so I often go off of recommendations and browse through respected seller’s favorites.
This darling Christmas dress is from icandie (formerly pishposhgirls) and I can’t wait to see it in person…
And a few other things I am thinking about (or just swooning over)…
LOVE the bell ruffles!!
Aren’t these just DARLING??
I am now on the hunt for anything with a cute penguin on it…
Fancy!
A Tutu Playdate
Yesterday I kept Emi Sue for a few hours while Ms. Kim got her hair done. These two are the best of friends…truly, they hardly EVER pick on each other and always have a ball. Of course, when Vann got home he got them ALL stirred up and these pictures are the result. That’s what Daddies do, right?? Come home and wind the kids up so they crash out at 7:30 pm??
Charlie loves her Emi Sue…

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jog
And there ya have it…our weekend went by like a flash and Uncle Erik and Aunt Didi (yay!!!) are on their way to a honeymoon in New England. The baby is still safely in my tummy (which was a real concern for Vann, although the hotel was right across the street from a hospital, so I told him we were covered) and we are officially done with travel for the year.
Next up: Halloween!!!!!
