{"id":57,"date":"2011-11-20T11:44:00","date_gmt":"2011-11-20T11:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/almostjuliet.com\/index.php\/2011\/11\/have-you-ever-seen-cake-this-cute-our\/"},"modified":"2018-04-21T17:22:24","modified_gmt":"2018-04-21T17:22:24","slug":"have-you-ever-seen-cake-this-cute-our","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/almostjuliet.com\/index.php\/2011\/11\/have-you-ever-seen-cake-this-cute-our\/","title":{"rendered":"Ella\u2019s Elmo Birthday!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have you ever seen a cake this cute???&#160;   Our celebration for little E was a quiet one this year \u2013 just Mimi and Poppy and the four of us \u2013 lots of red pom-poms and balloons and this stellar Elmo cake from <a href=\"http:\/\/tartbakerydallas.com\/\">Tart Pastry Boutique &amp; Studio<\/a> here in Dallas.&#160; My sweet friend Michelle came through for me in a huge way \u2013 all I did was send her a picture from <a href=\"http:\/\/pinterest.com\/\">Pinterest<\/a> and she completely took over from there.&#160;   And the best part??&#160; The inside was vanilla cake with strawberry filling.&#160; Uh, what??  Maybe someday <a href=\"http:\/\/www.almostjuliet.com\/2011\/08\/art-of-cakemaking.html\">my dream<\/a> of making my own cake will be realized.&#160; For now, I\u2019ll just leave it to the experts.  You\u2019ll be happy to know that Ella is now caught up to other kiddos her age.&#160; She still has some communication issues (as in, should have more words by this point and should be using more two word phrases) and will continue to receive early childhood intervention (ECI) services for those.&#160; Cognitively and in every other way she is officially 2.&#160; Pretty great progress for our little peanut since this time last year.
