So, most of you know that Charlie and Mommy are headed to Texas in the morning to visit Mimi and Poppy. Daddy starts school next week and we thought it’d be a perfect time to get away! We plan on doing a whole lotta nothing (at least Mommy plans on that) and Charlie will also get to see her great-grandparents and great aunts and uncles, as well as her beloved Uncle Erik and her dear friend Kelly Finley. So excited!!! It will be a whirlwind, and I’m sure, go by faster than we would like.

Charlie is a real sweet pea. She is into everything, and I’m sure that will only multiply once she is walking. She is cruising like crazy, and pulling up on everything. She loves her Daddy and can’t stand to be away from him (uh oh, tomorrow could be dicey) and loves to boogie. She has a new habit of shimmying her shoulders when a song comes on the radio that she likes, and also shrugs her shoulders in a coy way when men especially talk to her. I guess it’s her way of flirting!

She did learn from the master….Did you all know that Mommy was awarded “Biggest Flirt” in high school??
