Moving Forward….

Poor Charlie. She’s been a bit of a sad sack this week. These pictures were actually taken at our small group brunch last weekend, but we thought they captured just the right amount of frustration. We’re pretty disappointed over here on Giddings Street, but we know that the Lord is good and nothing is outside of His will. We also know that it’s very important to reflect Christ’s love in all we do and say….so we are trying to remember to be kind and gracious, even though sometimes we might feel like throwing a tantrum.
But it’s ok for Charlie. After all, she is a baby.

  1. Charlie is a baby. Sometimes we can pull our hair at the a tantrum our little folks pull. Maybe it is more teeth…or the change in the weather. It is all a guessing game to know what the problem is when they can’t tell you. (They have a special language.)

I have rocked them for hours until I found what made them unhappy. A quiet time or very soft music sometime “helped”. A man at Giddings St love to go for a walk in the all weather (being carried). Janet and Vann loved the outdoors; sometimes this helped. Good luck….Love

  2. Well, despite the tears…she looks adorable! It must be something in the air – Addie’s had a rough week herself….which means Mommy has too! The only thing that has really made her happy this week has been strolls outside.

I hope you do have some quiet “Mommy time” and that Charlie is a happy baby once again.

    Love, Jill

PS When are you doing Christmas family portraits???
