Friday night Mimi graciously offered to babysit Charlie while Vann and I had a wonderful date night at North Pond, one of the most delicious and memorable restaurants in Chicago. When we made our reservations, we requested a table in the front dining room, which faces the downtown skyline. It was definitely the best seat in the house!! Not only that, but they made our desserts extra special because we also told them that we were celebrating a new addition to our family. The morning sickness is almost totally gone, so on that night I was able to fully enjoy every part of the meal. Yay!!
At some point I am going to learn how to add a link so that all you have to do is click on “North Pond”, versus having to post the link elsewhere. Anyone know how to do that? Until then, you can check out North Pond at www.northpondrestaurant.com.
Adding links… When you are writing the post, simply highlight the word(s) you want to be the link, i.e. North Pond. Then click the little icon that is a green globe with a little link above it (sixth thingy from the left). It opens a window where you type in the URL of the page you want to go too. Even easier if you go to the page first and copy the URL, then all you have to do it paste it into the window.
